Day-by-Day Description

Day 1 | Arrival in Lisbon

Welcome to Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal! Upon arrival, your private driver will transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

You have the rest of the day to explore the stunning city center, enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, or relax in your comfortable room.

Day 2 | Lisbon Highlights

After breakfast, meet your guide for a panoramic walking tour of Lisbon.

You'll visit iconic attractions, starting at Restauradores Square with its obelisk commemorating Portugal's independence from Spain in 1640. Take a funicular to Bairro Alto for views of Mouraria and São Jorge Castle, then stroll through the charming Chiado neighborhood, known for its old cafés and shops.

Next, explore Baixa, including Rossio Square, where you'll learn about the city's reconstruction after the devastating 1755 earthquake. Continue to Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest district, to admire the Se Cathedral and Commerce Square.

After the tour, return to your hotel with the rest of the day free. In the evening, consider joining an optional tour

Day 3 | Coba Da Roca and Cascais

In the morning, you'll meet your private guide-driver and set off on a full-day excursion to explore the stunning sights just outside Lisbon. Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, leading you to Cabo da Roca—the westernmost point of mainland Europe—where dramatic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean. You'll have time to enjoy the breathtaking views and capture some fantastic photos.

Continuing along the coast and passing the dramatic cliffs of Boca do Inferno (“Hell’s Mouth”), you’ll arrive in the picturesque seaside town of Cascais. There, you'll stroll through its charming 12th-century historic center and enjoy a peaceful walk along the beach.

After the tour, you’ll be comfortably transferred back to your hotel in Lisbon.

Day 4 | Fado Show with Dinner

On your final evening in Lisbon, enjoy a special night out with a traditional Fado dinner experience. Savor authentic Portuguese cuisine while listening to the soulful sounds of Fado in an intimate local venue—a perfect way to end your stay in Lisbon with music, culture, and heartfelt emotion.

Day 5 | Trip to Coimbra

This morning, your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the train station for your journey to Coimbra. After a comfortable train ride, you’ll arrive in Coimbra and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring the city at your own pace.

Day 5 | Arrival in Coimbra

Upon arrival in Coimbra, your driver will meet you at the train station for your transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free or you can pick one of the optional tours, talk to your specialist for more information.

Day 6 | Coimbra Highlights and Trip to Porto

Today in the morning, right after breakfast together with your guide, embark on a tour of Coimbra's highlights. As the oldest university city in Portugal, Coimbra was the medieval capital for over 100 years. Explore its monumental charm, facing the Mondego River, and visit the University of Coimbra, renowned for its stunning baroque library.

After the tour your driver will take you to the train station where you catch your train to Porto.

Day 6 | Arrival in Porto

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and head to the train station for your journey to Porto.

 

Upon arrival in Porto, your private driver meets you at the station and transfers you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant city at your leisure.

Day 10 | Departure

This is your last day with us, your driver will pick you up at the hotel for your transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Day 9 | Braga & Guimaraes Tour

Today, enjoy a private full-day tour to two of northern Portugal’s most historic cities—Braga and Guimarães. With your personal guide-driver, begin in Braga, known for its elegant architecture and deep religious heritage. Visit landmarks such as the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte and explore the charming old town.

In the afternoon, continue to Guimarães, often called the birthplace of Portugal. Wander through its beautifully preserved medieval center, visit the impressive Guimarães Castle, and learn about the city’s role in Portuguese history. After a day rich in culture and discovery, you'll return comfortably to your hotel.

Day 8 | Day trip to Douro Valley

After breakfast, meet your guide-driver for a full-day tour of the breathtaking Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Begin in Amarante, visiting the picturesque bridge and São Gonçalo Church. Then, stop in Régua, the heart of the Port wine region, for a wine tasting and lunch at Quinta do Seixo, renowned for its stunning vineyard views.

Finally, explore the charming town of Pinhão, famous for its blue azulejos at the railway station. Return to your hotel in Porto and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 | Porto Highlights Tours

After breakfast, meet your guide for an exhilarating walking tour of Porto's main landmarks. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, located along the Douro River, boasts one of Europe's oldest town centers.

Your tour begins at the iconic Lello Bookshop, the oldest in Portugal. You'll also admire key monuments, including São Bento Railway Station, Porto Cathedral, and São Francisco Church.

After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

  • 1. Hotel availability is subject to change. If current hotels are booked out we will provide alternative hotels of equal value for you.

  • 2. We include 1 vehicle for your arrival and departure transfers. If multiple vehicles are required additional transfer costs will apply.

  • 3. Сity taxes are not included in the price. This is a small tax (1-5 EUR per person per night) collected by many cities. You will need to pay it at the hotel on checkout.
